Andrew grew up surrounded by music and started piano lessons at an early age. His love of music inspired him to pursue piano performance at the university level for several years. It was during this time that he became interested in becoming a piano tuner, so he packed his bags and moved to Toronto to study piano technology at George Brown College for two years. Since graduating in 2000, Andrew has gained a vast amount of experience, working first for an established piano rebuilder for three years and then becoming self-employed in Michigan in 2003. In 2004, he became a Registered Piano Technician with the Piano Technicians Guild. More recently, Andrew completed three weeks of specialized training at the Steinway & Sons factory in Astoria, New York. He has tuned for many notable artists, such as Natalie Cole, Johnny Mathis and Frank Sinatra, Jr., though he equally enjoys serving musicians of all levels.
